... I'm in the library again, abusing the school's resources (which I paid for)... in my school fees we pay for the library fee and the library energy fee... XD ... those are separate components... I have a crazy school...
anyway... there's this one thread in this forum i frequent and a post smashed my heart into pieces... this guy blames maki and rika for the alleged decline in momusu and H!p...
although i would agree that there is a general decline in h!p, i don't think it is right to blame the performers... i mean, it's their job... everyone's pointing at rika as the beginning of the acceptance of non-singers in the agency... and i agree she is NOT a good singer, even if she has improved over the past more-or-less 8 years, her voice isn't pleasant sounding to everybody's ears..
her sheer sexxxiness on stage is disturbing to some people... and some think she sings and dances in a way only "wota-whores" (i know you're reading this) would!
but she just freakin' auditioned!!!! she didn't coerce anyone to accept her into what would be H!P!!! Tsunku chose her! what made him choose? i don't know... did anyone else have a say in that? i don't know either... she didn't come into what would've been H!P with that image... if you ask me, she was tabularasa when she came in... and she and the agency built up the image we have of her now!!!!
I don't know a thing about her sense of morality or whatnot or if that affects her work... but that is her work!!!! freaking respect that!
and besides, "decline in H!p" is a very relative concept...
i'm not a fan of the new MM... but I respect the fact that the new set is NEW... and I mean to emphasize on that word NEW...
actually, i like onna ni sachi are... it's introducing the new musume to us... gone is the last piece of the "classic" musume... i think we should give the new set a chance...
