... i just noticed that the places i visit for my rounds are decreasing and decreasing... yes, i have a schedule of places to visit... there then there, then there and there at the same time using tabs... then here... i double take sometimes but only after the first round is over...
*sigh*
i also noticed i've been neglecting this corner of the world...
then again, there's not much to say that isn't out there already, ne?
i don't get s**t so, nothing to really ponder about...
i've been pondering about myself lately... a little too much...
... some part of me wants to get shot really badly... where's that damn gun when you need it?
==
i've been listening to hangry and angry a lot for the past couple of days... as in on repeat forever... while i'm sleeping, in the bath... eating... *sigh* ...
i was assigned to write lyrics for a new song for my band... the working title of the music is Mystery... but the working title for the lyrics is The Bloody Chamber... a bit based on Angela Carter's take on the story The Bloody Chamber... it's supposed to be a gothic song thematically and stylisitically.. hopefully i finish it before the 19th...
sometimes it just feels like the sun, moon and stars just line up...
the composer really likes the concept i'm working on... GIZA GIZA's been sort of inspirational for this one to me...
the music is a bit... i don't know... unconventional... i was listening to it on the train... and some images and acronyms were flying about in my head... hmm... ishiyoshi related, maybe not... oh... it is... ha~ ... it's not worth mentioning how... but i think... even for today... it is related... ha~ i'll work around the song with *them* in mind... yeah...
i don't think that matters to you... haha... oh well... the warning's there--->
...
hmm... an ishiyoshi inspired song... that'd be awesome... from our projected plans, this song is supposed to be on our second album... haha... i have a very funny band... we have the 2nd and 3rd albums on planning stage even before the 1st one is fully conceptualized....
we have about 30 songs already but we have only recorded 3 for the upcoming sampler this december...
i wanted to play around with the words but there might be restrictions...
oh yeah... my baby just gave me this:
awesome, ne?
she really knows the stuff i like...

my semester is crazy.... i have southeast asian history...
i think for a paper, i might research on Malaysia and Singapore... or Vietnam...
i think it's really awesome how this side of the world is so diverse...there're Sino-influenced countries and Indo-influenced ones... the funny thing is that the philippines doesn't fit into either category... we have neither mainstream confucianism or legalism nor hinduism or buddhism...
it's like the only south east asian about us is our geographical location... it's a shame how little we interact with our neighbors... then again, i don't think we interact with ourselves that well either...
most people here are malayan by appearance... i look malayan... LOL
i took chinese history a couple of semesters ago... that was a fun class...
for a while back i was very much into taoism and taichi... and hindu philosophy...
i really tried to incorporate all that into my christianity... and i think it does make sense... haha... not...
ha~ i'm taking chinese "philosophy" (using quotation marks because i don't want to box it into the european definition of philosophy) this semester... the philosophy of language class got dissolved...
we read... and understand... there are circles and there are lines... and other geometric shapes... haha... and scribbles... don't forget the scribbles...

the rabu-rabu and i were talking about this professor i had before... he taught at kyudai for awhile... an amazing gay man... haha... yeah... but what's really cool about him is that he's a political scientist who dances a lot... he told us that during his time in japan, he attended japanese dance classes and even demonstrated it in class... he brought a fan to class that had the whole japanese constitution written on it... that was so cool... i learned that those fans that they use for the dance, they have a piece of metal attached to the base to act as a weight...
he can curse in japanese pretty well... from what i heard...
he's been to thailand too and he studied dances there too... bangkok's an awesome place...
i hate how people here only want to go to bangkok or hong kong or singapore to shop... they don't really go out to experience the culture and interact with the people...
anyway... so we were talking about him when we suddenly thought that we want to see as much of the world as we can... i guess in her case, that comes from being tied to their home... she hasn't travelled a lot even within the philippines...
i remember (i was in the states around April and May of this year before RFP began) when i got back she was really eager to listen to my stories...
we had a stop over at the Incheon airport in Korea... AWESOME PLACE!!! i heard it's been declared the best airpost consecutively for the past 3 or 4 years... it's huge and clean and.... JUST AMAZING!!!
... i know i've told you guys before that i hate my dad and stuff but i really envy how much he has travelled. He and my mom lived in saudi arabia for awhile until my sister was conceived... since then, it was just my dad abroad... he's been to Belgium and Amsterdam everywhere!
~~
ha... are you who i think you are?
haha! some girl approached me asking me if i was in a band who performed in this particular bar... i said yeah... because we did have a gig there a while back... man, i thought she really recognized me... when in fact, she's mistaken me for a member of another band!!
hahahaha!!!
i never thought i had a look-alike before...
but that guitarist (the one she's mistaken me with) is pretty cool too... ha~ CHALLENGE! i better improve my skills to be at par with her...
it would be bad for her if they mistake me for her... hahaha!
