from random rants to insane insights

hmmm...

been going here and there... and i noticed how many people (don't ask me to quantify 'cause i can't) are "turned off" by "classic" and "canonic"/"semi-canonic" pairings, wanting new ones (new random ones, IMO, but can't let too much randomness invade this random rant)

now, don't get offended if you're one of them, i somehow see where these feelings are coming from... especially if your two favorite idols are not paired up canonically... and besides, it's just me talking... nobody important...

i remembered this conversation i had with one of the brethren and we were in agreement about how much we are disturbed by this... partially because we happen to be 1444 fans... and as you all know, i am a 1444 die-hard...

now... that's not the only reason why i'm not very accomodating to these new pair-ups... another reason is something i caught from a forum somewhere... "faithfulness to the idol's real character"

... probably i'm not that observant of the behavior of other H!P folks or something because i just can't see in them the chemistry that i see between 1444... and i don't mean professional, performance chemistry... i'm talking about "connection"... i don't know if there's an english term equivalent to this but one filipino jesuit philosopher calls it "pakikipagtagpo" ... it's sort of like "when souls commune"... yeah... something like that...

it's beyond laughing together and being all touchy and sitting next to each other all the time...

i think it's most evident when they're not sitting together... a few meters apart... or when one is absent... and i don't know... (maybe it's just me... 'coz i'm crazy...) ... when they're not looking at each other... not talking... i don't know... i can't really assume anything to be true, right? i don't know anything about them beyond what they let the whole world see...

hmm... when i look at older pics of 14 and 44... i get the sense that back then, they weren't fated to be 1444... but after watching how they kind of blended in together (their voices sound nice together, they have complementary looks, they also complement each other in humor, and in futsal...) it's like, they've made such a deep connection with each other... *sigh* i can't find the words to explain it all...

anyway, i don't feel that with other pairings... some i feel, if such connection does exist, it's a bit superficial, or totally professional... *sigh*... i don't know... lolz...

i'm really crazy... i've confirmed that by now...
