I really miss the time when the most important thing in my life was IshiYoshi-ing

cuz i do have to admit that right now, there's just so much happening in my life and that i barely have the time to even check JPH!P for anything on either Rika or Yossy or both. whatever happened to 2ch or hatena or those uploaders??? OR OUR OWN FORUM!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!

I feel like I've lost the anticipation for anything and instead of waiting for things to drop and i'll catch it before it hits the ground, now i just wait for it to drop to the ground, roll on the floor and find its way to my feet.

i'm not the same hopeful as i was two or three years back. and i kinda miss being that person.

i would get into arguments with my girlfriend because the ishiyoshi-fake-kiss-incident was more important than anything that's happening in our own actual lives.

at that time, i didn't really care so much about other people's time and attention and acceptance

i didn't care that they didn't understand the stuff that i did.

I was always so excited and jumpy about IshiYoshi...

but it's like that person got buried in real life drama, politics and shit...

*sigh*

i am kinda sick of this "real life" thing

Maybe you guys don't think about it this way... but because i am a crazy person i think like:

"isn't is amazing how you were born as who you are and everything that has happened in your life has led you to this point of reading this crazy blog post by a crazy person that you probably wouldn't be reading had you done ONE thing or a some things that would have led to a totally different result?

that's how i see this whole thing... the amazing thing isn't simply that coincidences happen... it's that from an infinitely variable set of possibilities, brought upon us by infinitely variable causes, such a coincidence can happen.

like how 'un' is more commonly used than 'hai' to say 'yes' to your peers. usually 'hai' is for responding to people senior to you (agewise or else) or to strangers

i don't closely follow what's going on now but generally, outside their activities as musicians, they work apart appearing in dramas and talk shows. yossy also appears to be going into athletics, training for marathons. i had some chuckles today reading what some people had to say about something i'm truly guilty of, talking about our favorite coupling too much

but believe me, at that time in my life, that compulsion was the only thing that drove me to do anything

so i have a holiday tomorrow so i'mma chill out and talk

recently, i haven't been very active in the ishiyoshi scene and some of your probably know why...

i've been very busy with my band as we are recording our 1st album which hopefully will come out early next year

now now, yes, some of you might be thinking 'aww, we lost tru to real life...'

but come to think of it, my real life is so real after all...

and what i mean by not real is that i don't feel 'real people' when i face and deal with them...

it's tough... be considerate and fake or be cold and real?

then again, i'm just assuming that many people can be like this

i'm not very friendly nor likeable in person, i think

actually, i am quite shy outside the net

because i feel like when i say something here, if you read it or listen to me (on my show) it IS your choice

that idea was something that took me sometime to grapple with...

of course it is a great idea when it is from that perspective...

but sometimes i do react violently to things other people say online...

so that's not being consistent

...

stay away from the painful things... it is easy on the internet, i think... but the temptation to be sadistic is so great

so shameful, tru...

anyway... going back to what i was saying, it is easy on the internet, if you don't want it, close the page... easy... with most people, it's easy to... just stay away, and live like a hermit...

but when you have to open up... when you're in a band...

i dunno...

i'm starting to feel very needy here... it's not that i want more attention to me... just the same attention as others

but it's not easy to ask for that... if they really don't feel like it, what is there to do?

but but but...

it's not easy because i HAVE to be there...

i love the music, the concept, the people in it...

it's just that they don't love me as much, i guess...

some people were asking me what happened to my blog

no, i didn't... actually, someone (i dunno who but i was pretty impressed) visited this place while i hid it under another url...

so yeah... about classifying IshiYoshi fans

tbh, I don't mind guys (as in male people) who don't like IshiYoshi... it's like they're a non-factor

they don't take ishiyoshi seriously... i like their explicit apathy to the subject... except one dude i know... but yeah some of the most hardcore of them (and believe me, i talk to them a lot) don't mind IshiYoshi... it's fan service~ all cool...

so, in short, they don't hate it... even if they like Rika or Yossui or whatever...

what bothers me are the people who dislike IshiYoshi not on the grounds of keeping one or the other 'pure' but just disliking the people in it... one or the other...

i was talking to a baws, like last year, on the subject and yeah... she feels that people who dislike IshiYoshi and actually pay attention and speak on the subject dislike the pairing not because they like one member too much and can't imagine her hooked up with a person (any person), rather, they like one member too much and think that she's too great for the other... so they dislike the other half so much that they can't imagine her with their favorite member...

like i said before, in my mind, if you really like one 'idol' you'd be cool with any pairing that person is in because she's soooooooo awesome, she has great chemistry with anyone she works with and she can totally compensate for everything the other person lacks... (it doesn't matter who the other person is)

but if you hate a half of a duo, it would never fly... no matter how great the other person in the duo is, it'll suck to you cuz you hate that one person so much...

like what that baws told me, it's not that the people who look don't see... it's just that they hate too much to admit that they see what they see...

so that's just rantage...

don't mind all that... i'm just phasing around in my brain, trying to make sense of all this...

rationalizing, perhaps...

but yeah, the difference lies in how much love and how much hate we have towards our idols

the 'population crisis' in this fandom doesn't lie in the mad adoration of wota-like people... as far as i can see, they're outsiders to this... they don't accept any pairing... they don't reject any pairing...

IshiYoshi isn't about showing us anything... it's just about being them... and us taking it all in...

KMKM, GIZA2 and Angelia sounded better in the mini-album than the new album

the 1st verse of KMKM had so much going on already... my sister said it was a total mess... to me, personally, the build-up from the original disappeared and seemed to have been bulldozed by unecessary electronica-sounding instrumentation

the guitar riff in many parts made the rhythm awkward and made the song disjointed, i think

i died upon hearing an acoustic guitar at the intro of GIZA GIZA... like 'WTH happened to the piano?!'

honestly, that piano built the intensity of the song...

今、中野サンプラザで行われた松浦亜弥のコンサート、夜の部を観てきました！
なんと、本編ラストの「絶対解ける問題X=」の途中で、バンド紹介をするのですが、
昨晩はツップリツップリツップリをやってくれた、ピンクのウサギの着ぐるみ2人ですが、
今回も何かやってくれるのかな～？と期待してたら、
なんと2人とも着ぐるみの顔を自ら取ろうとしてるのです！
客席から、一瞬どよめきが！
そしたら上手側のうさちゃんが「恋愛レボリューション21」の振り付けをしだしたんです！
それもかなり激しく…。
えっ、まさか…とは思ったけど、多分客席のほとんどは、まさかそんな！と思ってた筈です。
そして、一斉に2人が顔を取ったら、なんとそこにはよっすぃ～と梨華ちゃんが現れました！
客席、昨晩のごっちん以上にヒートアップ！
梨華ちゃんは、顔を出してからも「恋レボ」の振り付けを激しくしていて、
あややにコメントを求められたら、もう汗だくでヘトヘト状態で、先にあっちからとよっすぃ～を指差し、
そのままダウン！ステージ上に、うつ伏せになってました。
よっすぃ～は元気一杯で、あややと会話してました！
メンバー紹介が始まると、よっすぃ～はステージの下手側にちゃんといましたが、
梨華ちゃんは上手側のステージのかなり端で座り込んで、ツアータオルでしきりに汗を拭いてました！
2人とも元気そうで、ほんと何よりでした。
まさかあややのコンサートでこの2人を見れるとは、ほんと驚きでした。
きっと1番驚いてるのはあややだと思います。
バンドメンバーやダンサーとかスタッフ全員知っていて、知らなかったのはあややだけだったようです！
よっすぃ～があややにそう言ってました！

so yeah, many of you have probably seen that discussion somewhere far from here about the dynamic among IshiYoshi and M-san

it is very confusing... really XD

well not really...

someone there mentioned an audio recording allegedly of rika complaining to yossui about M-san

as far as i know ( i have not heard the clip myself but someone EXTREMELY reliable told me what went down), as far as that audio clip is concerned, rika was talking to yossui about M-san going on a date with her boyfriend in disneyland or something... to me, in this particular case, this only reflects how much rika upholds the rules... i think rika is a bit disappointed how the jimusho lets these things go down...

as for yossui's response, it's just 'un...'

also, i think this also reflects just how different they are, Rika and M-san

you've seen M-san always characterized as 'i'll do what i want and you can go screw yourself' while, to a certain extent, rika is married to her job... i hope this rings true with h&A...

anyway...

if you check out some episodes of H!M with Rika as host, there were times that she would show REALLY clear signs that she is jealous of some exchanges between yossui and M-san

i'll try checking them out tonight, if i don't fall asleep... maybe...

before, i thought that people shut out the notion of yossui being gay altogether... and i tried to understand them a bit on that position... but now, it is strongly apparent to me that they are simply shutting ishiyoshi out...

a long time ago, i was talking to someone about US ishiyoshi fans... how when our 'infinite source' suddenly dies down, someone will step up... the same way how in a forum, when the main translator guy is away, someone would do the translation shizz...

because there's less of us... there's less chance that someone knows how to read/undestand japanese and less chance that someone knows where to dL all this shizz

a friend and i have been thinking of building and ishiyoshi forum

but i do feel that we cannot pull it off

because to make a forum, you need something to talk about, and a bunch of somebodies to talk

because they have so little, and yet, they can talk so much... and i ask... WHY!?

some people have noticed the 'decline ' in ishiyoshi fics

to be honest, there wasn't a decline this year... because there hasn't really been much fanfiction on ishiyoshi for a long time (at least on JPH!P)

that's why i feel the sudden need to stab people when someone says 'there's too much ishiyoshi fics' or something along that line

because there isn't enough

i heard the other day that people nowadays dislike ship fics

they just like plot driven fics or whatnot

it's good that not a lot of people remember me as a writer... at least they never mind that even while i'm around because i AM a ship writer

my fics is all about how awesome they are

i don't know why some people wouldn't like that

why do people read fics anyway? can't they find a good book to read with 'a lot more substance, proper grammar, solid character development, realistic settings, heavily researched backgrounds?'

or they can... watch a movie... it's quicker that way...

people read peoples' work then complain about a lot of shit...

uhm... you do know one pays us to do this... and no one makes people read our works...

it's a holiday today so i got some time off to think...

i was just talking to one of the brethren and i was telling her how i feel like fic writing isn't in me anymore... (okay you might think that i'm being presumptive in believing that it was in me before but it sounds more cliche-ish like this, ne?)...

i dunno... i feel like my english and outlook is very different from when i began rfp

to be honest all i want to do now is just finish the fic then game over for me in that aspect of fangirling...

*sigh*

but whenever i try to continue... i feel wrong about how i'm writing

the words don't work

the moment isn't there

...

i was told that one of my strongest points is writing moments

my grammar is faulty, typos abound, transitions are weird, flow doesn't exist, development is awkward

screw originality XD

that can only get you so far

if i can't pull of a moment like how i would do them before, i dunno... it feels really wrong...

...

so yeah... there are a lot of folks who write fanfiction... some who write ishiyoshi, a few who actually post them publicly...

it was a bit stupid of me to have a go at it thinking that it was the only way to know if it is for me

because i could've just gone on with my life without posting that fic, less burden on me, i guess in hindsight...

so yeah, last night i went karaokeing with a student at school who used to be an h!p fan and my gf(kissy) XD

she has all singles from morning coffee to souda! we're alive!

it's cool cuz the karaoke place had some MM songs... but i think their lates MM song is Go Girl~ Koi no Victory, which i sang and danced to solo cuz the student had no idea XD

it was kinda crazy... but lot's of fun

she said i'm 'very high-tension'

i'm in the boondocks today so i had sometime to watch and watch and watch my ishiyoshi video stash again and noticed somethings i didn't notice before or stuff i noticed before but didn't post... of course these are stuff i found on my own... so yeah

some time ago, someone was asking me how we ishiyoshi people find the littlest details in video clips and photos... as if there was a technique for it... really, there isn't... things just show up whenever and even i can't expalain how they come to me... maybe, one thing that is important to note in my own case is that i combine my 'education' and my experience and it's nice to know that the prod people of hello morning of so long ago did too

so... this set pic isn't unfamiliar to you all... we've all seen this in picture and in video clip... and for some, they hold this as firm proof to ishiyoshi

this set of pictures is firm proof that the prod people, by 2005, know when to cut scenes from footage... notice how rika just 'magically' moves from the middle of the crowding musumes to the side, far away from someone whom seemed like she was about to hug... you gotta watch the video to be sure of this XD

i've been spreading the ishiyoshi word at work, writing the characters in hiragana all over so that they'd be intrigued (they seemed pleased that a non-jap person is very interested in japan not for employment purposes) XD

but as always, i usually say that i'm a big fan of ishikawa-san so not to give a bad impression of the rest of the ishiyoshi fanhood (just in case)... most of the students seem to like me though so that's okay... i think... save for that jerk bastard who i want to kill...

so one of the students asked me how i would feel if ishikawa-san gets married... i assumed that she was under the impression that i was in love with ishikawa-san

so i explained to her that i won't be angry because i want ishikawa-san to be happy... and that i love ishikawa-san as an artist and admire her as a person but not love her like a lover would... but i just had to insert some ishiyoshiness in it all... XD

so i told her (in kinda broken english-crude japanese cuz she's a beginner) 'i wish IshiYoshi combi... ... ehhhhh... itsumo itsumademo... yeah...'

and she was like 'ehhhh... Yoshizawa is lesbian?'

and i was like 'no... no, no.... no... ehhhhhh... Ishikawa-san no best friendo wa Yoshizawa-san, ne?' (i was dying inside while i was saying this, btw) the i just diverted the topic to h&a 'visual kei combi, ne?'

and she was like O_O 'ehhhhhhh!?'

apparently she had no idea about h&a... i haven't met a student who knows about them... so i'm spreading the word...

i was like 'watch their shows and plays and TV appearances when you go back to japan!'

i lost one student yesterday!

fucker!

he was like 'uh, i'll be taking class from different teacher from monday or thursday'
and i was like 'okay'

i'm pissed cuz my boss might shoot my ass on this one again... but i'm relieved cuz i can't stand that student and he's gone~

i'm fine with the advanced students, i'm fine with beginners... what i'm not fine with are arrogant students

first time i met the guy, i did the module starting from stage one... and he was like 'can we skip this part?' obviously thinking that he knew whatever was on stage one already

in my mind, i was like 'uhm... sir.... you do know that two comes AFTER one, like three is after two and so on...?' but i just went like '... uh okay'

so i did stage two and lo and behold the fucker doesn't know what plural means! unfortunately the meaning of the word plural is in stage one YOU STUPID MORON!!

another thing is that he doesn't bring his dictionary to class... you know, those electronic dictionaries that are so damn amazing?

the most advanced students i've handled before wanted to review stage 1 over and over and over, people who have come from America, Japanese law graduates

and then this economics major comes along feeling like he knows English more than me?!

i've been speaking fluently english for probably 15 years, i broadcast in english to people from all over the world, i've written poetry, research papers and a thesis all in english, hell, i blog in english, i've written probably one of the most popular, grammatically inane ishiyoshi fanfiction in english, i've read many sorts of english books, i've travelled to the united states and i have used english in all sorts of situations and i can pronounce SHIRT. GAWD

he can't even pronounce shirt right! he says SHOT! WTH! even my beginners can do better than that! like /shart/ or something...

seriously, i don't care about his money or time, i really don't want to teach him anyway... but in the school, the students can spread bad word about you and make you lose students... *sigh* and make the boss hate you... so that's really what i'm worried about... but i have a witness to my efforts last friday and i wish her testimony could get me another student...

have i mentioned here that a student of mine is from Saitama and another one is from Kanagawa?

if i haven't ... well, i just mentioned it now XD

yeah... cuz when i get to handle new students, during breaktime, i'd ask them where in japan are they from...

both of them were surprised that i knew that there was such a place as kanagawa and saitama

but they're not from iruma, saitama nor yokosuka, kanagawa.. but that's okay...

i made a list of my students' names and hometown/prefecture XD

three of them are from Nagoya, Aichi ... that's where Toyota's headquarters is... and this guy told me that Aichi prefecture is neither Kansai nor Kanto... interesting... so i was like 'So you're always left out!!!' haha

funny guy... sucks he left last thursday... went back to japan...

i like making friends with my students... i always tell them (in a joke) 'when i go to japan, i'll stay at your house, okay? i'll pay you some money but not as much as a rent in an apartment'

this one female student... is SOOOOOOO damn adorable XD

she's 28... but she looks like she's 20-24, give or take XD... she lives in Tokyo...

yesterday we were kidding around, she asked me 'what happened to ishikawa-san?'

ooh, last friday, i once again told a student of mine about my h!p fangirling and for the nth time, i received 'EHHHHHHHHHHHH~?!' as a response...

she asked me how i found out about h!p and i was like, 'through the internet...'

then she asks something like 'how did you find out that there was such a group?'

and i went like 'it's a very long story' and i didn't tell her the whole shizz because we only had 10 minutes to chat...

yeah... i think it's not the first time that the importance of the internet to fandom, especially the kind of fandom that we have, has been emphasized.

following this, we depend so much on other fans...

i think i mentioned that like two posts ago... and that's soemthing i really don't get...

like personally... i've felt that need to talk to folks about ishiyoshi...

i've maintained the chatrooms for months even if no one ever goes there anymore... except for this one time when some person came in just to tell me 'fuck you'

but i can't really blame anyone for that... unless you're informative, no one would want to talk to you...

i hoped some insanity would change all that... but no...

if it really is so personal, the only people i should be able to talk to about it would be my girlfirned and some really close friends... ... but that's not really the case isn't it?

i met some of my closest friends because of ishiyoshi... i've set priorities and alliances with ishiyoshi in mind... that's insane, i know... but yeah... that's how personal ishiyoshi is to me... and yet, i don't know anything about them...

Well, the ‘liking them because I’m gay’ thing is so emo of me XD

… for me, I liked Yossui (alone) before getting into ishiyoshi… and the primary point of interest for me then was the romantic angle… of course, nowadays, you guys can hear me talking all over the place about:

‘ishiyoshi as love really just represents the positive energy the exude together. And that this energy is positive because it’s genuine. Whether they are lovers or friends or anything, it deosn’t matter. What matters is that they are not faking it for the cameras, they’re not faking their connection.’

For those of you who don’t know yet, I started working full-time this week.

And to me, that just meant one thing: less time to sit in front of my computer to look for news and pictures about and of them.

When I was new in the fandom, I would sleep at 4 am and would wake up at around 5 am… I would bring my laptop to school and I would just turn it on, keep on surfing and leave it in the library (tied to a table) whenever I had class…

I went all out in the big English forums, I went to this French forum, I found a Chinese blog, I really tried to find everything… but sure enough I can’t… I spent hours trying to catch up, not to fall behind…

In a scary way, my life revolved around them… as if something big will happen while I’m not looking and miss it forever and in a way, miss half of my life… XD

Yes, by now you should know that tru_harmony = tru_crazy

Now because of work, I sleep early, and turn of my computer before leaving the house…

But they are still constantly in my thoughts…

I ask my students if they know of things connected to ishiyoshi and try to find out how much they know… most of them generally don’t care about h!p anymore even if they used to be fans too… I was surprised that one student (who was into h!p only around the peace-mr.moonlight “era”) didn’t know of the term “ishiyoshi”… but she said they are a great combi…. She was amazed that I knew of them… I even wrote the Japanese characters for ishiyoshi… those are the only ones I know… XD… I’d have it tattooed on my forehead if I get anymore crazier than this…

I think, at this point, my question now really is, do I still love them as much as before?

Before = the time when I was more-or-less constantly updated about them

Can I love something I do not ‘know’ (like my knowledge of isn’t updated)

But then what is there to know, really?

We can’t know everything… distance, status, human limitation will keep us from that

Following this, am I really still hopeful?

… So yeah, all this time, my doubt doesn’t lie in them… I KNOW, like some ancient truth buried in my unconscious, that IshiYoshi is real, IshiYoshi is love… probably in ways that the premises are defined on a VERY personal basis…what I’m doubting is myself… my patience to keep on waiting and hoping… my humility to accept that I can’t know anything… my ability to get closer to that truth…

as loud and obnoxious i am... i found myself exercising discretion in the forum....so yeah... often times, i've typed shizz up, and get ready to post the long-ass ishiyoshi rant... when i just suddenly decide to click on the back button on the browser letting all those bits of characters be forgotten... because it's a public place, even if it's the ishiyoshi thread, i don't feel as free...

it's not being ashamed of being the insane whatchamacallit that i am... i'm all fucker... but i do recall talking to someone about the 'recordings' and kinda getting... hmmm... i dunno...

we rely so much on rumors, speculation and interpretation...

with every shred of news i get (that i don't post anymore XD) a strange feeling of skepticism comes upon me...

no where else to post dream shizz so i'mma post it here

i dreamt of yossui just before waking up... yeah sucks

it was on a beach and there were a lot of crabs... like huge crabs

and we were walking... dunno why... it was like we were catching them crabs... choosing some to take home to eat or something... i really don't remember...

i was trying to talk to her.. dunno the language but yeah... like bringing up all sorts of topics that i can't remember... but she just answered 'un' or some short affirmative response... so i walked away from her to a rockier side of the beack and i saw this HUGE ASS CRAB lying on it's back... it was female too (DELISH)

and i called to her and pointed at it for her... weird the crabs weren't going anywhere... they were just there...

anyway, so she stood like three feet away from me and said something along the lines of 'that's good... enough for us' ... dunno what language, i just understood whatever...

then we got the crabs and started walking back... and then i looked at her... (she looks so cool) and suddenly i just said something like 'isn't it cool that we met? out of all the people... i mean sure, everyone you've met is pretty much like that.. stuff happen and you meet people... but isn't it like cool that... you and me, we met?' ... then she held my hand... and we walked together... not talking...

i dunno, it was a very brotherly moment... i think... i don't have a brother so i dunno... but... i know what sisterly feels like and it's not that... i know what rabu-rabu feels like and it's not that...
